Scope & objectives
A 1 day course for non-derivatives specialists in the infrastructure sector, this course assumes some outline knowledge of the use of derivatives and is suitable for individuals at all levels within asset owners and managers, debt providers, financial advisors, law firms and similar organisations.
A more technical follow-up to our course Introduction to Infrastructure Derivatives, the objective of the course is to equip candidates with the skills and confidence required to interact effectively with derivatives professionals within the context of a typical infrastructure debt transaction, with an emphasis on practical example and discussion.
The course takes an interactive approach in discussing the material and questions will be encouraged throughout the session.

Course leader
Rob Dornton-Duff has over 20 years' experience in marketing, structuring and advising on derivatives, primarily within infrastructure and project finance. He has transacted over USD 50 billion in derivatives notional amount for the sector, including leading the hedging process on projects such as the Wordl's largest offshore windfarms Hornsea 1 & 2, Greater Chanhua 1, Borkum Riffgrund III, Gemini, Nordsee 1 and Norther offshore wind farms; Ellevio acquisition and refinancing, FARAC 1 Mexican Toll concession refinancing, London City Airport acquisition financing and numerous other projects. Rob has an Aeronatutical Engineering degree from Imperial College and an MBA from Manchester Business School.
